About us
Nurture Psychology pride ourselves on being flexible, creative and highly trained psychologists who place relationships at the centre of what we do.
In 2015 we set out to improve the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and their families. Especially those who are looked after, adopted or on the edge of care; our particular area of expertise. We are experienced clinicians with a specialism in the area of attachment and developmental trauma. We offer a comprehensive range of evidence based support and best practice interventions, which are individually tailored to the families we are working with.
Our small team of qualified clinical psychologists each have at least five years post qualification experience and over ten years working in the NHS. We are all qualified to doctorate level and in addition to this have completed post qualification training. We are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, have Enhanced Certificates from the Disclosure and Barring Service and are Chartered Members of the British Psychological Society. Nurture Psychology are also on the preferred provider list for the National Adoption Support Fund (ASF).
We work closely with parents, schools, local authorities and other professionals providing consultation, bespoke training and school based workshops.
